Barry Harrison -

As Resolve’s Managing Partner, Barry makes sure our projects are done right — and he has really high standards. He’s passionate about the web and dedicated to the proposition that good design is good business. "Developing an effective web presence is a complex process. It takes clear communication. Collaboration. Trust. And a little humor doesn't hurt."

Barry has worked as an architect, interior designer and product designer until 2001 when he founded Resolve Digital in San Francisco. "Our approach is similar. I help our clients see the possibilities, understand the options and stay focused on their business goals. Then they can make informed decisions that lead to the best solutions."

Barry is a member of the SMPS San Franciso Chapter and an ASID Industry Partner.

Patrick Morrow -

Patrick is Resolve's hands-on Creative Director, coming up with web, Flash and graphic design solutions for our clients. With broad experience in web and graphic design, and having worked in both agency and corporate environments, he understands the processes and challenges in producing the best possible results.

Now based in San Francisco, Patrick spent many years living and working as a designer in South Africa (although he’s actually Irish, and grew up in Zambia and Malawi). "I believe that the diverse nature of my upbringing instilled an appreciation of the unique differences between the individuals and clients with whom I work, and enables me to generate design solutions that are tailored to each client’s needs."

David Jones -

Resolve's Lead Developer, David has built a wide range of websites over the last few years. But David's a little different from most tech guys: "I understand both the technical and business requirements of our clients. You can be technically skilled but if you're not able to translate that into something useful for the business, your skills are wasted. It's this fusion of knowledge which gives our development the edge over other firms."

David's latest interest is an open source web development framework: Ruby on Rails.

Charles Melhorn -

Involved for a number of years in real-time flight software, Charles has lately been focusing on internet technologies and applications. He's particularly interested in open source software, including the Ruby on Rails framework and the Mozilla platform, and has authored several popular Firefox extensions.

When he's not developing web-related applications, this longtime Baltimore resident can be found listening to obscure indie music, watching obscure foreign films, and bowling the occasional obscure game of duckpins. His eclectic interests are a product of being open to new ideas, a quality he feels is equally important to his work with Resolve Digital.

Simone Taylor -

As Resolve Digital’s financial and business development coordinator, Simone works diligently on new account relations. “I love what Resolve Digital has to offer so it’s easy for me to talk with designers, architects, and other potential clients to help them find the right fit.”

This life-long Oakland resident comes from a strong theatrical design background. A theatre arts graduate of CSU, Hayward, Simone continues her love for design and creation as part of the Resolve Digital team. When she’s not working, find her in your trendy neighborhood boutique looking for a new addition to her handbag arsenal.

B.J. Snow - Email

B.J. is Resolve Digital’s resident site evaluator and SEO/conversion copywriter. Her passion for language grew during one of several careers — teaching English in high schools, colleges and with the Peace Corps in Eastern Europe.

She has done technical writing for Federal Express, Volvo and many other corporations but found her niche on the Internet. B.J. likes the combination of technology and the art of writing well. After some years of traveling, B.J. is delighted to have settled in Asheville, North Carolina, the “happiest place in America.”
