Ruby on Rails. iOS. Spree Commerce. We'll always bring a user-focused, strategic perspective to your unique business challenge.
Every time we touched the code base we tried to leave it better than we started so code quality gradually improved over the three-month engagement. We added 3,465 lines of code but deleted 5,575 lines for a net reduction of 2,110 — a huge simplification and great overall improvement to the project health.
On the iOS side, our first step was to stabilize the app by introducing tests and doing some refactoring. Unit testing often gets overlooked by iOS developers but we’ve found Xcode 5 now makes it easy to analyze code, monitor performance, and write tests. By adding a new test suite (with over 160 tests) we gained the confidence to move forward.

On the front end the site's most important job is to differentiate and engage each audience and start them on the path to conversion.
But on the back end, things weren't so simple. No single software could handle all the technical requirements and building something from scratch was cost prohibitive.
Our solution: integrate Active Admin, Refinery CMS and SalesForce into one system to manage accounts, content and members.
